    E-Waste Recycling Contest

    This month, New Haven is participating in a state-wide e-waste recycling contest. First prize is a $3000 scholarship for New Haven schoolchildren. Please bring your electronic items to the New Haven Transfer Station (260 Middletown Ave) from Mon-Sat 9am-Noon.

    Examples of accepted materials include:




    Printers, fax machines, and scanners

    Keyboards, mice, power cords, etc.

    VCRs, DVD players, DVRs, cable receivers

    PDAs, portable digital music players, etc.

    Cell Phones, telephones, telephone equipment, calculators, etc

    Please note that no lightbulbs or batteries are accepted.
