FAFSA on the Web (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/)
The online version of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid allows you to determine your eligibility for aid, check deadlines, fill out the FAFSA, and check the status of submitted applications.

FastWEB (http://www.studentservices.com/fastweb/)
Allows you to do a customized financial aid search listing over 300 references.

Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov)
Includes information on scholarship scams and how to avoid them (click on "Consumer Protection").

Financial Aid Information Page (http://www.finaid.org)
Lists a variety of scholarships, grants, and consumer information. Has a link to FastWEB, Collegeboard, and other sites.

Lists Web sites and other resources for financial aid seekers from precollege to postdoctorate levels.

New England Board of Higher Education (http://www.nebhe.org)
Includes information about the Regional Student Program whereby tuition can be lowered for New England students earning degrees in programs not offered by their home-state public colleges and universities.

This foundation is a multi-state non-profit agency which administers, guarantees, and finances loans within the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and alternative student loan programs. It provides information to students and parents seeking to finance a higher education as well as free outreach services regarding college planning and the financial aid process.
