Located at the Main (Ives) Branch, the department has an up-to-date collection of over 6,000 books, periodicals, audio-visual materials and powerful databases.
Business, Job and Nonprofit Services includes the Nonprofit & Philanthropic Resource Center (NPRC) that opened in 1998 with support from the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and philanthropist William C. Graustein. A Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center of New York, the NPRC is a centralized regional resource for grant-seekers, grant-makers, researchers, board members, fundraisers—anyone working or interested in the nonprofit sector.
