    August was such an eventful month! City residents and so many visitors shared so many successful events and activities!

    With great appreciation for the extraordinary efforts of tournament director Anne Worcester and her team, the New Haven’s annual tennis extravaganza was a terrific addition to the local sports landscape, adding to amazing music throughout the New Haven Jazz Festival, marvelous dramatic performances at Shakespeare in the Park, and a special welcome to New Haven concert for Yale’s Class of 2018.

    And there’s a great deal to be excited about in the month ahead, as well. With the resumption of classes throughout New Haven Public Schools our focus will return to high-quality education for local students. September will also feature special events ...
