PARTY TRANSFER -- MUNICIPAL PRIMARY. Last day that an enrolled elector
can transfer from one party to another and be eligible to vote in municipal primary
of new party. (Sec. 9-59)
The Registrar of Voters performs all duties required by Connecticut General statutes governing voter registration, annual canvass of voters, primaries, elections, and compiling and retaining accurate statistical information for federal, state and municipal government agencies.
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINES.
PRIMARY: Your application must be postmarked or received in our office by the 5th day before a primary. Or you may apply in person until 12:00 noon on the last business day before a primary.
ELECTION Your application must be postmarked or received by a voter registration agency or you may register in person at the Registrar of Voters by the 7th day before an election. If you are unable to register prior to the registration deadlines for new voters at an election, you may be able to register and vote on election day at City Hall.
POLLING PLACE INFORMATION
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following forms of identification should be presented at the polls: your name AND address, or signature, or photograph.
