The Registrar of Voters performs all duties required by Connecticut General Statutes governing voter registration, annual canvass of voters, primaries, elections, and compiling and retaining accurate statistical information for federal, state and municipal government agencies.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2013 – MUNICIPAL PRIMARY
Mon., June 10 Last day an enrolled elector can transfer from one party to another
and be eligible to vote in municipal primary of new party
Tues., Aug. 27 Session for registration and/or enrollment of unaffiliated electors
from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thurs, Sep. 5 Cut-off for outside and mail-in registration and/or enrollment of
unaffiliated electors
Mon. Sep. 9 In-person registration and/or enrollment of unaffiliated electors
from 9 a.m. to 12 noon
NOVEMBER 5, 2013 – MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Sat., Oct 19 Session for voter registration session from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tues., Oct. 22 Hand-delivered voter registration deadline
Mail-in voter registration must be postmarked Oct. 22
Tues., Oct 29 Cut-off for in-person registration from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Mon., Nov. 4 Limited registration session in person at Registrars of Voters
Office to admit those seeking to vote in election whose
qualification as to age, citizenship or residence was attained
since Oct. 29.
Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following forms of identification should be presented at the polls: your name AND address, or signature, or photograph
