JANUARY 2013 and YEAR TO DATE - UNIFORM CRIME REPORTS - PART I CRIME STATISTICS
The following data is defined by the F.B.I.'s Uniform Crime Reports, and shows the changes for Part I crimes.
The number of Part I crimes known to Police for January 2013 is compared to the same month in 2012. As the figures show, there was a increase of +8% in total Part I Crimes this month, and a increase
of +8% for Part I Crimes for this year.
Part I Crimes are defined by the F.B.I. in two categories: Violent Crimes and Property Crimes. Crimes are counted by the number of incidents for each crime type, with the exception of Aggravated Assault. This crime type displays the count for the number of victims.
