    Youth Basketball Leagues

    Children 5-6 years old
    A playful introduction to the game of basketball, this basic program will introduce basketball through games and fun.

    Children 7-9 years old
    Develops fundamental skill levels and basic techniques through games, with an emphasis on fun, participation and sportsmanship, taught in a non-competitive format.

    Children 10-12 years old
    Further hones the skills previously described above.

    Volleyball

    Volleyball

    Coed After-School Volleyball
    After-school volleyball league, in partnership with the New Haven Board of Education. This league teaches the fundamentals of volleyball in a non-competitive way and allows interaction with girls from different neighborhoods, cities and towns.

    Coed Beach Volleyball
    This league is a continuation of the Fall league but in a beach setting at Lighthouse Park.

    Adult Coed Volleyball
    A league that is slightly competitive and a good form of exercise. Teams are limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedules are made according to number teams entered.

    Football

    Flag Football

    Flag football
    This league, a non-competitive league for boys, teaches the basic fundamentals of football.

    Intramural Football
    Same as above but games are played at specific neighborhood sites.

    Tennis Instruction

    Youth
    Teaches the basic fundamentals and other techniques of tennis through games and fun

    Adult
    Basic techniques such as forehand, backhand, volleys and serves are taught. The use of drills is perfected and exercise experienced.

    This program is designed for health-conscious individuals who want to tone up and get a fresh start to healthy living.
