Programs

New Haven has three rivers and numerous ponds and streams that drain into Long Island Sound. Clean water in our waterways helps insure a healthy watershed and wonderful water recreation. New Haven’s Riverkeeper works with children and adults to monitor water quality and encourage the safe use of our waterways.
