The New Haven Parking Authority proudly serves the people of New Haven and its visitors with over 9,000 economical public parking spaces at the Air Rights, Crown Street, Chapel Square, Temple Street, Temple/George, Granite Square, and Union Station Garages, and at 19 surface facilities conveniently located in downtown New Haven and in surrounding residential neighborhoods. All of the facilities offer full public access for short-term, hourly parking.  Rates vary from facility to facility, as do the hours of operation. Garages offer weather-protected, covered parking and several of them are connected to the facilities they serve, either integrally or via pedestrian bridges which offer protection from the elements.  Garages are regularly patrolled by New Haven Parking Authority security officers.
