CHAPEL STREET BRIDGE TO BE CLOSED THURSDAY DURING BUSINESS HOURS – DETOUR TO BE POSTED

The city’s traffic officials today issued the following TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

On Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. the Chapel Street Bridge over the Mill River will be closed for maintenance.

For the duration of that time, all vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured between East Street and James Street – detour signs will be posted to help drivers move around the work area.

City officials thank drivers and pedestrians ahead-of-time for their patience and cooperation Thursday.
