    After what seemed like a very long winter, spring has arrived!

    Governor Malloy is hosting a series of town hall meetings across the state and will be visiting New Haven on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 at Wilbur Cross High School (181 Mitchell Drive, New Haven) from 7:00 pm – 8:00pm. This will be an opportunity to engage in a dialogue with Governor Malloy regarding the proposed state budget. I hope to see you there.

    Green Tip:

    Join New Haven in celebration of Earth Hour on Saturday March 26 from 8:30 - 9:30. Participate by turning off non-essential lighting in your home or business in a world-wide event to reduce fossil fuel energy consumption.

    Health Tip:

    As the weather warms gardeners need to be on the lookout for the tiny ticks that transmit Lyme disease. Studies have found that people who garden more than four hours per week are at higher risk of acquiring the disease.
