As winter and its inclement weather persist, I’d like to remind New Haven residents of a free service the City provides in the event of severe weather or other potential crisis situations: emergency alert notifications.
By signing up for the City’s Emergency Alert Notification system, you can select to receive email and/or pre-recorded phone call alerts with up to date information about safety, parking bans, clean-up progress and more in the event of severe weather or other potential crisis situations.

I'd also like to introduce you to New Haven's new Shop-Dine-Park debit card program, which allows use of one card for parking and most shops and restaurants citywide. Enrollment is now available at INFO New Haven located at 1000 Chapel Street.
