NEW HAVEN HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO OFFER FREE H1N1 CLINICS
(1/4/2010) NEW HAVEN— The New Haven Health Department’s Office of Emergency Preparedness is offering free H1N1 vaccination clinics for anyone who wishes to receive the vaccine.
Scheduled clinics for the month of January will take place at the New Haven Health Department’s clinic on the first floor of 54 Meadow Street. Clinics will take place at this location every Tuesday morning beginning on January 5, 2010, from 9:30am to 12 noon and every Thursday night beginning January 7, 2010 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Vaccines will be issued by appointment only at this location due to limited space. To schedule an appointment visit www.cityofnewhaven.com and click on the H1N1 information button and fill out the Registration/Consent form. Interested individuals should follow the instructions on the website for returning the form and they will be called for the first available appointment. Individuals without access to the internet can make an appointment by calling 203-946-8178 and recording their name and contact information.
Vaccines will also be available at the City Hall Atrium on January 28, 2010 from 11 am – 2 pm. No appointment is necessary to receive a vaccination at this site, but participants are highly encouraged to fill out the Registration/Consent form prior available on the City’s website before arriving at the City Hall clinic.
Additional vaccinations will be made available at the city’s Senior Centers and at Tower One, Bella Vista and Casa Otońal housing complexes. Clinic dates and times for these locations will be posted at each site.
