    Household Electronics Recycling Day

    (10/2/2007) (New Haven) – This Saturday, October 6, is Household Electronics Recycling Day. Between the hours of 8am and 12 noon, New Haven residents can bring unwanted household electronics to the Department of Public Works at 34 Middletown Avenue for recycling. Residents should register for this opportunity by calling 946-6136 no later than noon Friday, October 5.

    This program is for New Haven residents only. Residents should bring a valid Connecticut driver’s license, Elm City Resident Card, tax bill or utility bill to use as proof of residency.

    No Commercial or industrial electronics will be accepted. Program operators reserve the right to refuse large quantities of household electronics. For more information regarding this electronics collection event, please call 946-6136.
