Emergency Response Volunteers
WE CAN DO IT, YOU CAN HELP
The best protection against bioterrorism, natural disasters and emergencies is a well-informed,
well-prepared citizenry. To manage an incident and keep the public safe,
New Haven would need a large team of well-trained volunteers to respond
in the event of a public health emergency. Please join the New Haven
Volunteer Emergency Preparedness Team by filling out the following
volunteer registration form. Together we can reduce the possibility and
consequences of disasters.
The New Haven Health Department Medical Reserve Corps (NHHD MRC) is a newly formed unit as of 2012. The mission of the NHHD MRC is to maximize the protection of lives while minimizing morbidity and mortality during a public health emergency with trained emergency responders.
