City of New Haven Democracy School
We want your voice to make New Haven City Hall work better.
This fall, the Office of the Mayor will be coordinating New Haven’s fifth
Democracy School – a six session course aimed at introducing residents to their local government. Residents will get to talk to key administrators and decision-makers in city government and local politics. These leaders will make presentations on their roles and priorities, as well as engage in structured discussions with participants. Hopefully, this will serve as a pathway for participating residents to increase their leadership and involvement in the community.
The Democracy School begins October 3rd. It will meet every Wednesday from
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in interesting locations across the city. Refreshments from local restaurants will be served for admitted participants.
