The Department of Elderly Services promotes and delivers comprehensive services to the elderly citizens of New Haven. These services include housing assistance, recreational activities, social and educational opportunities and health screening activities. Services are delivered through the network of 6 city-run senior centers throughout the City.

Lunch Program - Each senior center has a congregate meal program offered at 11:30 am daily. To sign up please contact the senior center of your choice.

Homebound individuals may call 946-2272 for an appointment for someone to cone to your home to assist you with your application.
