As part of the Yale-New Haven Hospital Cancer Center Project, Intercontinenta Real Estate Corporation proposes to construct a mixed use development on an entire City block in the Medical District. The project will include 57,000 GSF office space, 15,560 GSF of ground floor retail and 24 residential housing units in a “wrap” structure surrounding in part a 845-space parking facility. The parking structure is intended primarily for use by YNHH employees as well as the occupants of the retail and office space. Intercontinental is the approved developer for the site, known as Lot E, under a Development Agreement between the City and Yale New Haven Hospital.
