New Business Opening: Amadeus Center for Health & Healing

(10/13/2010) University Properties Welcomes Amadeus Center for Health & Healing to the Audubon/Whitney Arts & Retail District

New Haven, Conn - Yale University Properties invites you to celebrate the grand opening of Amadeus Center for Health & Healing at 20 Lincoln Way in the Audubon/Whitney Arts & Retail District on October 22, 2010 at 11am.

Amadeus Center for Health & Healing, founded by New Haven natives Sal & Remy Amadeo in 1989, has been a leading provider of alternative health services for over 20 years. The center offers a unique blend of alternative natural therapies including massage therapy, acupuncture, foot detox, and hypnotherapy.

“We are excited to bring our high level of alternative health expertise to the heart of New Haven. This new location is a short walk from downtown and Yale University” says Sal Amadeo, Director of the Amadeus Center. “The massage therapy and alternative health services offered are critically needed by workers and students under increasing stress from the demands of modern life.”

The Amadeus Center is dedicated to discovering and providing the highest level of natural health and services available. Their new location can be found under the brick arch on Audubon Street which offers a quiet and convenient setting for downtown employees and the Yale community.

“Amadeus Health & Healing is a welcome addition to the Audubon/Whitney District, which is becoming a thriving center for beauty, health, and wellness.” said Abigail Rider, Director of University Properties. “Amadeus joins Salon Ivanova, a locally-owned full service salon and boutique which opened on Audubon in September. Amadeus is one of several exciting new Downtown retail tenants we will be announcing in the near future.”

Yale University is an active partner in creating a vital downtown and promoting New Haven’s economic development through its community investment program, and as a result is the largest payer of real estate taxes in New Haven.
