The New Haven Redevelopment Angency has a long history of guiding successful redevelopment of the City's marginalized developable land. It is an agency established by Connecticut State Statute in order to prepare and implement redevelopment plans for areas of the city that are blighted or needs improvement through a cohesive redevelopment strategy. The agency has the power to acquire cited properties by friendly taking or by condemnation.
The New Haven Redevelopment Commission will hold regular meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. The meetings will take place in Meeting Room 3 at City Hall, 165 Church Street, 2nd floor in New Haven, Connecticut.
