    Meeting called to Order at NH City Hall, 2nd Floor Meeting Room
    Roll Call:
    • Present: Barbara Carroll, Wayne Hobbs, Lena Largie, Cathy Gootkin, Bianca Bowles,
    Robert Spirito,
    • Absent: Evette Hamilton, Frank Cochran, Noemi Rivera and George E. Carter
    • Guests: Corporation Council, Roderick Williams, Reginald Thomas, Lt. Anthony
    Campbell, Debra Sullo, Leslie Radcliffe.
    Wayne Hobbs agreed to act as interim Secretary until a special election scheduled for May.
    Minutes of the January 2104 meeting were approved. (February meeting canceled).
    Internal Affairs Report by Lt. Campbell:
    • Sgt. Roy Davis leaving due to rotation; Det. Lynne Meekins joined IA.
    • 7 closed “C” cases and 1 closed “I” cases. 27 cases closed out in 2014. Cases assigned
    by rotation lists and are being closed out in a timely manner.
    • 89 Fire Department background investigations being handled by IA Sgt. Helland with
    Detectives Cruz, Dixon, Meekins and Lt. Goddard. IA complaints being handled by Sgt.
    Jason Minardi.
    • Lt. Campbell, Sgt. Helland and Deb Sullo, department admin assistant, attended a 2 day
    IA Pro Symposium. IA is entering data into IA Pro plan to enter past two years of data as
    recommended by IA Pro trainers.
    Case Discussions
    • Review forms submitted by: Barbara Carroll, Lena Largie and Bob Spirito.
    • Several cases and procedures were discussed with the Board and Lt. Campbell.
    Public Comment
    • Ms. Leslie R. Radcliffe was thanked for her service as Board Secretary and everyone
    wished her well with her future endeavors.
    Subcommittee Reports:
    • None
    Unfinished Business
    • Nominations for Secretary in April with a Special Election in May.
    Motion to adjourn made by Robert Spirito, seconded by Wayne Hobbs approved unanimously.
    Next meeting of the Civilian Review Board is scheduled for 6:00pm Thursday April 10, 2014 at
    New Haven Police Department, 1 Union Avenue in Chief’s 3rd Floor conference room.
