    Internal Affairs Report:
A portion of this time was given over to the Ofc. From the NHPD Recruit Training division to present a demonstration on the use of Taser devices. Ofc. Strickland advised that they were not authorized to do a 'live' demonstration but provide a information on the history of taser use within the department, deployment techniques and protocols for use as 'less than lethal force'.
Lt. Anthony Duff advised that the matter of making General Orders available to the CRB was being worked out with City of New Haven Corporate Counsel, the Board of Police Commissioners and Internal Affairs. He advised that someone would get back to us in a timely fashion.
The term 'PDHQ' would be used in IA cases when referring to complaints that originate at the 1 Union Avenue address. Previous HQ complaints had been attributed to the Hill South stats.
The concern of misfiling of IA documents has not been fully addressed, but Lt Duff advised that every effort is being taken so this does not occur again. With the hiring of a full time administrative staff it is hoped that this issue will not be repeated.
New Sergeants are still rotating thru IA for Investigative Training. Sgt. Pete McCoy is returning to patrol, Sgt. Roy Davis will be coming in on a 3 month rotation.
