    Budding trees, flowering shrubs, and sprouting flowerbeds suggest the promise of spring has been kept. Itís great to feel the warmth of the sun and see daylight until almost 8:00; Iím grateful to city workers for their efforts to spruce up the city for spring, filling potholes, sweeping streets, and getting parks ready for many months of warm weather activities.

    Dozens of local restaurateurs will also help give April a kick start when they host the spring edition of New Haven Restaurant Week from April 3 Ė 8.
