Kite Flying Day at Lighthouse Point Park - May 1st, 2010!

Pack a lunch, bring a kite, and your family and friends and, join The City of New Haven’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Trees at Lighthouse Point Park on May 1st, 2010 for a high flying event. Come watch the great Joseph “Sky King” Perron perform his three kite act. Also meet members of the ConnectiKiters as we enjoy a day at the beach flying kites. There will be a contest for the most creative kites and more!
Kite Flying Day will be located in the Open Space Area at Lighthouse Point Park. The event will run from 11am – 2pm. There will be a $10 registration fee that will enter your kite into the contest for a chance to win great prizes, or just come on down enjoy the show, and fly your kite!
