| With the holiday season approaching, it is important that we stay healthy and flu-free! I encourage all residents who have not done so already to visit a flu-shot clinic. On November 18th and November 25th you can visit the New Haven Health Department at 54 Meadow Street on the 1st floor, between 10am-12:30pm There will be a $30.00 fee charged for those attending; however, if you have Medicare Part B, please bring your card and there will be no charge. Homework Help Night this Tuesday (and every Tuesday!) Did you know that every Tuesday night the New Haven Free Public Library at 133 Elm Street offers free homework help to New Haven students? Tutors from nearby universities are available to answer any homework questions between 6pm and 8pm. I encourage parents and students to take advantage of this opportunity! Mayor’s Night Out This Wednesday I look forward to seeing you at Mayor’s Night Out which will be held at the Nathan Hale School beginning at 7 p.m. Representatives from all of the City’s departments and agencies will be present to respond to your questions and concerns. I encourage all residents to join me as I explain what the switch from analog TV to DTV means and as I discuss the resources that will be made available to help all residents with the switch. If you are unable to attend the press event or would like more information, please visit http://www.dtv.gov/ Dedication of Phyllis M. Mcdowell Fellowship House This Thursday we honor Phyllis M.
